IRCM supports and guides New Mainers through local systems by ensuring community access to trained, qualified people. IRCM’s culturally competent interpreters use their knowledge of local institutional structures and rules to establish a cultural bridge of understanding from the New Mainer community to mainstream providers, law enforcement, local school systems, DV/SA nonprofits, healthcare officials, and government agencies through necessary cultural and linguistically specific educational resources and services.
